We have created an event we'd be very appreciative of your support and helping to spread the word.

We are a sponsor of the newly created Manchester Community Schools "Rolling Dutch" Mountain Bike Team. This team was started in March and operates under the umbrella of www.miscabike.org/

If you are interested in this team, they are still able to have new students sign up and/or parent ride-leader volunteers to join.

In order to help build a valuable resource for both their team activities as well as for the full community. The head coach of the team has built a proposal to create trails here in Manchester. While the project is currently being led by the mountain bike team, all pedestrian user groups, would be equal partners in access and maintenance. And of course, your favorite bike shop would benefit greatly from the creating of these trails as well.

These will be hand-built and volunteer-maintained trails both beginning at existing city park facilities. The potential trail corridors have been discussed and walked by the Head Coach, School District, and City Parks and Rec. and have been approved to be presented to the City Council this coming Monday night at 7pm. Meet Coach Burrell and please support his efforts to make this resource a reality.

I will be at the meeting!

MiSCA Michigan Scholastic Cycling Association

Is this utilizing some of the new-ish cross country course?

It’s worth noting that a cool multi-user trail that is open to e-bikes, runners, walkers etc will being more people into Manchester. It starts at ChiBro where we also have disc golf and pickleball. It’s a great addition to our community and will help make Manchester a destination.

A great and healthy way to build out community and give kids something to do that’s fun.

Rebecca Cobleigh - let Noah Langbehn know too.
